Details: Strong truck in excellent shape. GMC 3500 dually Duramax diesel with new gmc motor with the balance of 100k warranty (including repair installation, etc. if necessary). Strong Allison transmission. Very clean interior. Long bed. This was used as my personal vehicle and not as a work truck. I am an accountant so I did not use for commercial construction or commercial hauling. I used to tow my boat lots (21´ malibu about 5,000 pounds) and my travel trailer about 3 times. Also for snowmobiles and atvs. Has dual climate control. The LBZ motor. The six speed Allison automatic with tiptronic or gear override. Other: B & W turnover hitch ball. Standard hitch is heavy duty also. Rubber mat in bed. Newish tires (see photos). 8 foot long bed. Drive it conservatively and see almost 20 miles to the gallon in this beast. About 14 miles per gallon even when towing!! Cloth seats, not leather. Bench seats front and rear. See small damage patch to the rear of the dually cover on the right side (it is in the photos - repaired and looks decent, but definitely not perfect), has a windshield crack from a stone hitting it. Only selling because I have two large diesel trucks and a land cruiser; I don´t need all these cars and I am trying to simplify my life.Maintenance: Excellent. Only one oil change since new motor was installed. (Motor blew up because of either defective crank or because of chip). Nearly $11,000 spent on the new motor, installation, and warranty. This motor is tuned bone stock as it comes from the factory so as to maintain the warranty. Synthetic gear oil for front and rear axels - rear with GM limited slip differential additive. Mobil 1 synthetic transmission fluid changed every 15,000. Fuel filter changed every 15,000. Less than 10,000 on brakes all the way around. Good/ newish tires (would guess average of 75%) - see photos for your own estimate though. GM propietary transfer case fluid, changed with differentials every 15k as well. Details: This is a 1987 GMC Sierra 1500 2wd, 2 tank, with a 1991 sbc 350. I bought this as a beater truck a few months back and it worked great. Everything in it works (no stereo). Interior is in good condition. It does need a little work. Needs Cam Bearings. Was going to do it myself but got a job out east and need to get rid of it asap. Its a good truck and the bearings would cost about $30-40 bucks. If you dont feel like doing that, could always just get a cheap, good 350 off craigslist or ksl and drop that in relatively easy and get a good working truck out of it. Im pretty firm on the price.
