Details: Want to trade a 1972 GMC 4x4 for a different toy. The goods:- Lots of body work done. Very very little rust on cab. Anything that was rusty and not replaced was sanded down and treated with rust inhibitor but A LOT was replaced. Bed is in moderate condition. Has some rust holes in floor near cab. - Strong ´93 350 with a high rise intake and Edelbrock carb. -Strong 700R4 ´K´ stamped model. - Truck is a little bit of a Frankenstein. It´s a 1972 GMC body mounted on an 83 Suburban frame so it´s the tough classic body on a more modern frame and drivetrain so parts and mods are easier and cheaper to find. And it has better brakes. Has a clear blue 1972 title though, in my name. The bads:- Needs finishing touches. No mirrors and such. Has brand new carpet, but seat is a little rough. Has a camo cover on seat. Would need horn, wipers (motor works but no blades on them), and rear license plate light to be inspected. - Front driveshaft knocks. All other parts of drivetrain are solid.- Not geared low enough to be a real crawler BUT because it´s a newer frame 1 ton axles will mount right in without cutting or welding. Overall an awesome running and looking truck. And good luck finding another GMC. LOTS of potential. What I´ll trade for:- Newer big bore (preferably twin cylinder) 4x4 independent rear suspension 4 wheeler. Low hours and low miles. Decked out for mud or not. - Low hours and miles big bore Ranger or Rzr or other name brand side by side. Must be 4x4. Decked out for mud or not.- Low to moderate hours 4x4 diesel compact or sub compact tractor with loader and shredder. Details: This is a used truck and 17 yrs old and is not perfect. Does have some wear and tear interior, body and paiint are solid. Runs great but hessitates. Starts right up and Idles great. Brand new battery (100 bucks). Its gonna need some work but you can test drive it and go from there. I am not a mechanic so you will have to make call. Was told could be gas filter and/or Fuel pump.Truck is in great shape, body is awesome, no tears on seats and no cracks on dash. Includes pictured toolbox and hitch. Ac was working but i was told all it needs is the climate control switch which you should be able to find used for about 45.00. I have owned this truck for approx. 4 yrs. Tires have alot of thread left, heavy duty tires. Reason for selling is I have no use for a truck this big and dont want to invest anymore money into it. Im asking 2500.00.obo.
