This vehicle is not one hundred percent complete or perfect, but I can guarantee I have put into this vehicle more than I am selling it for. The doors have been shaved and you enter this vehicle by turning the locking mechanism on the drivers side door. The interior is in fair condition and deserving of a restoration. I removed the two inner door panels because they were in poor condition. I would be willing to purchase new door panels for the right trade and or sell price.My buddy and I just overhauled the engine. I have all the receipts for the parts that were purchased. The jimmy is powered by a sbc 350, removed from a 1987 Cheverolet Impala. We replaced the following items with what you see: Melling High Volume Oil Pump, New Freeze Plugs, All new FelPro Gaskets for the entire engine, Edelbrock Performance Intake (Can provide specifics if needed as I still have the original box), has an existing Edelbrock Performer Series Carburetor, New Crank Bearings, New Connecting Rod Bearings, New Cam Bearings (Pressed in by a machine shop), New Molly Rings, New Water Pump, Roller Cam and Lifter upgrade, New Performance Valve Springs and Seals, New FelPro Head Bolts, HEI Distributor, New Double Roller Timing Chain, engine was thoroughly cleaned and coated with several layers of High Temp Engine Primer and Paint (black in color), Patriot Headers, Accel Header Plugs, New Plug Wires, New Water Outlet and Top Radiator Hose, New Thermostat, (All seals to include the one piece rear main seal were replaced),Installed AC Delete Box, New Chrome Valve Covers, New True Dual Exhaust, New Rotors, New Wheel Bearings, New Calipers, New Brake Pads, Brand New Falken Tires, New Windshield Wipers, New 1´ Carburetor Spacer and New Starter. This engine was responsibly broke in and we used top of the line break in fluids. The radiator was replaced by the previous owner and it cools itself with dual electric fans that were professionally installed with temperature sensors, relays, etc. The Jimmy has the 700R4 Transmission with a 1800 Stall Converter. The previous owner lowered the front end and I installed Lowering Blocks in the rear to level it out. The Jimmy now sits right nice in my humble opinion. I know I have missed some things, but you get the point. I replaced everything but the pistons (which are flat top), connecting rods and crank (all in good condition). The Jimmy has aftermarket headlights/tail lights and has been converted to a floor shift (console from 2000 GMC Jimmy S15). This last weekend, I removed the manual steering box and upgraded the system to full power steering. Steering modification works like a charm.This Jimmy has a lot of potential in my eyes and I know you will feel the same. Continue where I left off and I truly believe you will have a really really nice/solid vehicle. Details: For Sale: 1992 GMC Sierra 2WD truck with 260K Miles. Engine is a 5.7 liter/350 Cubic Inches/V8. My father gave me this truck when I was sixteen and I´ve had it ever since. It still runs great and the engine and transmission have never had any issues. The tires have MAYBE 2000 miles on them if that. The only major issues that the truck has is that it pulls to one side when braking (I´m not sure if it´s a clogged brake line or if the master cylinder is in need of repair/replacement) the clear coat on the passenger side is starting to flake and is coming off(as seen in pic), and it´s probably due a distributer. It´s got a new starter, coil and alternator on it but I hear clicking around the distributer when the hood is up and the engine is running. Distributers are just something that wear out over time. If I were keeping the truck, I´d replace or rebuild it. Since the truck does have 260K miles on it, please don´t expect the A/C, cruise control or tape player to miraculously start working again. I guess it´s possible, just not likely. That being said, the truck is well worn, yet still very solid. Please email me with questions.I´m asking $2200 OBO.
