Details: I have a 93 GMC 3500 dually for sale with a 6.5 turbo diesel. This truck is a haus, I use it and drive from Corpus to Laredo, San Antonio, Victoria.When i baught it the engine had been overhauled and had abot 100,000 miles since ive had it i put on an additional 20,000 so the engine has about 120,000 miles. Ive replaced the clutch, water pump, radiator, electric fuel pump, valve cover gaskets, fuel lines, and some smaller stuff. It drives great. It doesnt look like much but will be a great work truck. Ive hauled about 20,000 lbs. has a goose neck and high low break lines as well as electric brake. Some of the stuff i know is wrong is when your hauling a really heavy load it tends to get on the hot side 215-220 im told thats normal, I have a problem with the parking light and horn fuse blowing. I had a new 134 ac system installed last year but for some reason it leaks not sure why. Im also throwing in a 800.00 camper that has side doors and rear door with shelves. Details: 1978 gmc dump bed 3/4 ton with two extra springs on each side and helper springs as well. It has a 454 big block 4speed tranny with granny gear and a gear drive transfer case. it has 4:10 gears with a detroit locker in the rear only. Custom made bed and bumpers. Rear tires are in very good shape and fronts are around 50% i waited to long to have it alligned. I have replaced every u joint in this truck and had both driveshafts made by Flamespray. I used it to haul wood and a little gravel over the years and I dont think i am gonna need it anymore. It will haul as much wood as you can get on it, and the motor pulls this truck really good. I bought this motor this winter and and replaced the timing chain and gears, oil pump, and gaskets before setting it in. truck needs very little, the steering is starting to get a little sloppy, it has a catch in the throttle on an edelbrock carb, and needs a back brake line.
