Details: This has been a good vehicle for us, it runs perfect and drives really smooth. It has around 149,xxx miles. It has leather interior, 4 bucket seats and a bench in the rear (preferred by most). It has heated seats, sliding sunroof, cd player as well as cassette, rear heat/ air, onstar and towing package. It also has the highly desired 5.3l vortec engine, which has great power and also gets really good gas mileage. The Yukon has been used though and shows signs of wear. It has dents, is missing some heater-a/c vents (in the roof), the two front doors sag a little (which causes air to leak on the freeway), has a tear out of the back seat and the service engine light is on. there is also a little piece of paint that has come off the dash. The check engine light came on shortly after i got it, and it came on after filling up at the gas station. I beleive it has to do with the gas cap (which they are known for), but i havent looked into it because it runs great and it has been on for some time now without any issues. I have priced the vehicle accordingly due to dents and other minor things that i have mentioned. It is the lowest priced Yukon XL on craigslist and is well below book. If you want a good reliable comfortable vehicle that is capable of fitting the whole family and also at a very reasonable price, you can call or text me at 406-925-3034. Details: I´m selling my 1985 GMC Suburban 3/4 ton 4x4. Had to re-do this ad because of all the things ive fixed/added/messed with since originally posting.the good; -116k miles on it, the odo has rolled but i knew the previous owner and have tracked paperwork down suggesting that its truly a low mileage truck.-newly installed 4 bolt 350 out of newer conversion van. had around 55k on it.-trans replaced in ´01. only 30k miles on it since then. was upgraded to a th400 turbo (possibly w/shift kit). shifts very smooth yet firmly when it warms up.-4.10 geared, 8-lug axles. no its not a full floater in the rear but then again its not likely to ever break so... (its NOT a heavy-half ton)-Edelbrock vac-secondaries 650cfm carb, and an edelbrock aircleaner.-new spark plugs/wires. -new water pump.-used long tube headers and a true dual exhaust with no cats. stock mufflers.-COMPLETE removal of all smog related stuff. -very straight body, good paint. has a couple very minor dents but no rust to speak of and good chrome. has sidesteps (i hate them, but then im also not short). unfortunately it also has some free tree spittle on it in a few spots as well. could be removed and doent seem to have damaged anything paint wise.-tinted rear (side) windows. the tailgate window was NOT tinted, i assume for better visibility. all tint in very good shape and nice and dark.-power windows/locks. rear power window rolls up/down to open the tailgate. can be done from inside or with a door key from outside. very handy. -headliner delete (more room inside and no damage loading sharp edged things)-front bucket seats out of a ´91 suburban, i have the console as well if you want it, i just like being able to just turn around and walk to the back of the truck with the rear seats folded down. small tears in driver seat but its not too bad yet.-rear seats and most carpet in pretty good shape.-all guages/lights work well. stock radio, but rarely used so in good shape all around.-has set of nice looking (in my opinion) 20´ rims/tires. need a cleaning bad. i am going to be installing a better set of a/t tires this week as well.-heavy duty tow hitch and 7-pin trailer wiring. i do not know if it works as i havent towed with it. comes with a stinger and ball.-extra set of stock rims/hubcaps with crappy tires.-fresh tags good till jan/´13-i removed the a/c pump and rear a/c fan/condenser. it was r-12 and was taking up roof space.the bad;-Driver window wont operate, i suspect the main switch and its connector.-driver mirror glass missing.-front carpet is stained somewhat. may just be coffee or something.-leaks power steering fluid. it is either the pumps seals or the low pressure line. im over messing with it unless i decide to keep it, the entire system can be purchased used locally for less than $40. and installed easily thanks to the simplification of the engine bay.-it is leaking oil from the front/real intake manifold seal areas. probably installing an EGR delete intake this week sometime, so shouldnt be a problem for long.-tires kinda suck, but do ok and are smooth riding for 20s. again, likely installing a used set of some type of A/Ts this week as well.-needs a drag link end replaced. has play in the steering because of it. cheap and easy.Even if i DONT fix any of the little crap im working on this is still a heck of a truck for $2600, and i am open to offers/trade +/- cash depending on what it is (like- guns, gold, 500cc+ quad, or ´97-01 subaru impreza 5spd needing mechanical work). i really dont actually need to sell this truck (and am in no real hurry to do so), as i have yet to find a straighter one in this year, with this drivetrain, and not somehow molested or needing rust repair or major body work.
