Details: I have a 1997 GMC Jimmy 4.3 motor with 197,000 miles on it. We just put a new transmission in it about 3 weeks ago. It gets about 18-20 miles to the gallon. There is a hitch on the back and the wiring did work. Power Window and Locks work. The AC does NOT work, 4-wheel drive works as does the rear hatch. It is a good running truck. I am only getting rid of it because I need a full size truck to pull a horse trailer. About a year ago the brakes were gone through and redone as was the fuel pump. Oil is changed every 3000 miles. Details: 1997 GMC Sierra SLE Z71. 139,0** miles. $5,300 OBO. Make an offer, worst case, I say no. Blue books between $5,650-$5,970 very good to excellent condition. 5.7 liter vortec. Cloth interior, ac, 4x4, Z71 package, power windows, power locks, lund running boards, bucket seats with consule, bed liner, hitch, 4 and 6 way light hook up, cd and cassette player, tinted windows all around, k&n cold air intake(gets good gas mileage for a truck(18-23 highway))euro tail lights, euro corners, z71 third brake light cover, chrome gas cap cover. Truck is very clean for year, no rust on body((absolute rarity with this body style, most other trucks cab corners and rockers are rusted)(the only rust is a small spot on the bumper)), there are a few dents and scratches(expected for year), very shiny two tone paint (not gonna find to many trucks this clean for the year)and it runs as good as it looks, doesnt burn oil or leak any fluids. Front tires are about 40% and the rear tires are about 60%. The exhaust has seperated where the two pipes go into one, it gives it quite a rumble, thats the only reason I didn´t fix it because I like the sound.
