Details: 1997 GMC K3500 (1 ton) 4X4 single rear tire quad Cab (full 4 doors) 7.4L/454CI engine. 480LE Transmission long bed (8ft bed). It has 70,665 Miles on it. Truck came up from from Florida about 2 year ago and was never driven in the winter, so it has no rust. Work truck model. Manual windows, manual door locks, No tilt steering wheel, Radio (no cassette, or CD). Vinyl floors, vinyl rear seat. I replaced the front seat with cloth seats. Driver seat is full power with lumbar, passenger is manual with lumbar. 60/40 Split with center armrest/console. Everything works as it should. 4X4/4WD, A/C works, Load range E tires are in good shape. Has reese hitch, and 4 pin trailer wire. The bed is Rhino lined and has a bed liner. Body´s in great shape, but paint is faded, it has some scratches and the clearcoat on the trim is peeling, but there´s no rust and little to no dents. The dash has some cracks in it and is not in good shape. This truck is not a perfect truck, but if your looking for a strong reliable work truck or a truck to lift and paint, this is it. I had plans on lifting it, but too many projects not enough time. I´ve only put 20,000 miles on the truck in 3 years. Since I´ve owned the truck over the last 3 years I´ve replaced the following. Details: got this on trade and had to do alot. pulled the engine to replace engine mounts and have trans rebuilt and replace torque converter,because the torque converter was not locking in and caused problems with third gear and was getting tranny hot so we rebuilt it. 144000 miles engine sounds great no noises no smoke and starts very fast. doesnt turn over a bunch of time before staring. just did complete tune up and oil change. changed rear axle grease and transfer case oil and added lucas pure synthetic. replaced bad brake lines, and put bosch fuel pump in it because someone used an airtex fuel pump which does not provide enough fuel flow causing it to loose 3lbs of pressure .enough to cause engine light to stay on with several codes and loss of power. big headache. the person that traded didn´t know any better and drove it for a year and a half like that. upper and lower ball joints on both sides and both front wheel hubs from federated auto parts. and finally the idler arm in the steering. put alot of time and money into this thing and would make some one a great vehicle. may need tires soon but still usable. all this work has been done by me except the trans which i got done in ravenna by someone that understands these transmissions and fixes them when he has it apart not just replacing parts. very good guy at Auto Shop in Ravenna,Oh. cal or t ext three 30two1774nine1 name is dan Location: garrettsville,ohit´s NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests

Reverse gear is almost completely gone. It will engage somewhat if it´s warmed-up. It´s also stuck in 3rd gear. Diagnostics showed solenoids are stuck open or closed (can´t remember which). I´m pretty sure I pinched a wire in the harness when I was swapping the transmission from the truck below. The wiring harness from the other truck is listed below.There are many new parts on it: Front calipers, rotors, & pads, water pump, U-joints (front & rear shafts), exhaust pipes & gaskets, front-left ball joints and hub seal, tail gate cables, all filters & fluids, brake & fuel linesThe paint looks great, but it´s rusting pretty badly from the bottom up.The interior is pretty clean. The stereo has been removed.Bed liner.Aluminum rims.75% tread on tires.#2: Parts truck197,353 miles4x4 AutomaticExtended cabBlackClean title$400 and it´s all yours (I can get $300 from scrap yard).Individual parts:4.3L V6 (throttle body) is still in the truck, but mostly disconnected. It ran well but had fairly loud tick. $150All of the parts below are already removed. Let me know if you´re interested in any others:4L60E automatic transmission. Reverse gear does not work. $100Electronic shift transfer case worked fine. $100Complete engine/transmission wiring harness. No wires are cut. $100Aluminum bed cap. Black and bare aluminum. $75The hood is the only body panel that isn´t rusted out (see picture). Amazingly there is no rust on it. There are a few small chips. The front edge is hazy from the bug guard that was on it. There are about four spots where the double sided tape from the bug guard are still stuck on the hood. $50Bug guard. $25Exhaust Y-pipe and empty catalytic converter.
