These trucks of this model year with similar mileage are selling here in eastern Iowa for just under $9000, I have looked at many of them and all I have driven had the well known wabble in the front end that most of these old Penske trucks have, not to mention tired old 150,000mile transmissions, but worry not, I have replaced virtually all front end suspension components with top of the line moog parts, this is one of the only 3500 high tops you will drive with a super tight front end, also, this transmission was rebuilt on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Cedar Rapids Transmission and has less than 500 miles on it. She really runs even better than a new truck. I have seen these run up to 400,000miles with proper maintenance and believe that´s all this truck has had since I took ownership at 96,000miles, always Royal Purple and K&N oil filters, have all receipts for services performed and parts installed. Come test drive and see what an awesome deal this really is. Have only hauled furniture with this truck so there are no yucky surprises inside the extra clean, dry box. Loaded; 6600 V8 Duramax, 5 speed Allison transmisson, 152,000 miles, Dual control Air, tilt, cruise, leather interior with bucket seats, power windows/locks, Bose radio etc. This truck also comes with an A.R.E. topper(painted to match) that has a door on the rear or the whole end raises. I bought this truck from an older gentleman who pulled his 5th wheel with it so it has the trailer brake controller in the cab and is wired at the box for the lights. I planned on using it to pull a trailer myself and I have never made a purchase. It has only been hooked to a triple toon twice and pulled it like a dream. Details: 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4. Speedometer says 256,000 but really has around 150,000. Cloth interior which is in good condition. No radio in the truck. New tires with only 2500 miles on them. Truck runs fine but the body is a little rough. The windsheild has a crack theres rust along the bottom. I started to rivet new rock panels in on one side.
