MAINTENANCE HISTORY (since I´ve owned it at about 88,000 miles. . .it runs beautifully!)• Oil changed every 4,000 miles with Mobil1 Fully Synthetic 5W-30 or 10W-30 (depending on time of year). Filter is changed every oil change.• Fuel Filter and Air Filter changed every 6 months.• New upper and lower ball joints (February 2012)• New steering arms (February 2012 - these were replaced just because they were easily accessible during the ball joint change. There wasn´t anything wrong with the original ones).• New front brakes and rotors (February 2012 -- Pads are premium ceramic. . .not semi-metallic)• Alignment done immediately after ball joint replacement by the Alignment Center (February 2012)• New blower motor and resistor installed (January 2012)• New premium shocks (November 2011)• Transmission filter and fluid changed (Fall 2011)• Front and rear differentials have been drained and re-serviced with new gear oil (Fall 2011)• Transfer case has been drained and refilled with new GM Auto-Trak II Transfer Case Fluid. (If you ever re-service the transfer case in the future, you must use this same fluid. I´ve been told it´s not backward compatible to the original red-colored standard fluid. The new fluid is blue. This was done in fall 2011).• New rear drums and pads as well as replacement of springs and hardware (Summer 2011)• Windshield replaced due to a couple rock chips spreading (Summer 2011)• New pitman arm installed (2010 - the original was worn and causing a bit of slop in the steering)• New EGR Valve (2010 - check engine light was throwing a code for it. Replaced and problem solved)• New Crankshaft and Camshaft position sensors (2010 -- Check engine light threw a code for the Camshaft Position Sensor. I replaced both basically because I bought the crankshaft position sensor initially by accident because I misread the fault. . .so I just left it in there).• Distributor cap and rotor replaced (2010 - Replaced just because I was in there to change the camshaft position sensor).• Coolant and Fuel System cleaned and flushed (Early 2009)• Plugs and wires changed (Early 2009)• New Batteries were installed (January 2009)• Fuel pump replaced (March 2008)KNOWN ISSUES (there aren´t many. This truck is in excellent condition for its age and has been babied)• Driver side seat heater is not working. This could be due to the wiring not being hooked up or the heating elements are bad. I haven´t looked into it too much.• Some bulbs are burned out in the dash illumination. The radio lights are half burned out and there are a couple on the heater and the 4X4 /4X2 selector switch. These are easy and inexpensive to change. . .accept for the ones in the radio. I think those are soldered on.• The center console latch has broken off on the underside. It doesn´t change the operation of the console. It just doesn´t have a latch anymore.GENERAL CONDITION I have owned this truck since February 2008. It was (and still is) in excellent condition for its age. There is a small dent (not creased) in the passenger door. This could easily be popped out I´m sure. There are few very small rock chips in the paint...nothing you can see without getting up close. There are a few other small and hardly noticeable dents on a couple of the door panels. No paint chips on any of the dents though. The rear bumper is pushed down slightly on the passenger side. It was like this when I bought it so I don´t know how it happened. It´s not something that stands out too bad so I haven´t done anything about it. I have done every bit of preventative maintenance that I could have done and it has been babied for the past 4 years. It´s still just as powerful as it was new and doesn´t show any signs of wearing down. It runs, sounds, and drives wonderfully. I just bought 2 nearly new vehicles and don´t have a need for this one and as much as I´ve taken care of it, I don´t want it to just sit around and not be driven. It doesn´t drip oil or fluids, the tires are in great shape! It is however missing the tail gate and CV joints will need to be replaced, as the boots have recently split, but still work. Installed is a Class III towing hitch and a rubber bed liner. Obviously this would make a great work truck.
